But I also think that restraining yourself from playing converted maps, especially at the beginning, is stupid in the same regard. As I said above, the converter portrays less mania-specific patterns, so restraining yourself from maps made for mania would just be stupid. Heck, even for more difficult maps on 2 or 3 stars once converted, I often find it way easier to read than normal maps, because of how there are less mania-specific patterns portrayed by the converter.Įdit: this is not to say that a beginner should only play converted maps, to be very clear.
